SHARING THE MUSIC - August 18, 2010

Hi, friends!
Hope this finds you well and enjoying the remaining last weeks of summer. It's hard to believe that September is almost here, but I don't mind so much since it means we're getting closer to our concert on Thursday, September 9th, at the Bull Run in Shirley, Mass, with Dan and Faith Senie and special guest Seth Connelly! Tickets are going fast, and still available for purchase for $10 on the Bull Run website. Every ticket purchase includes a FREE *Sweet Ride* CD!
I'm catching up on some marketing for my "Fan Pages" at both Facebook and ReverbNation, and sincerely hope that you will consider helping me get the word out by spreading the news about them.
For those of you on Facebook, a "Fan Page" is not a personal page, but is one that musicians use to build a fan base. You can sign up as a fan to view updates from me about performances, reviews, etc., but it won't bug you with everyday stuff that gets posted on a 'regular'-type page:
ReverbNation is NOT a social networking site at all, but is a site that profiles musicians and all types of music from all over the world. My goal for the site I've created on ReverbNation is to really start "getting the music out there" by gaining more fans and listeners, and in turn moving up the charts on the local (Boston) scene to get more publicity for the new CD.
Although it's free, it does require that people register there as a user in order to become a fan, so I do hope that's okay with you, and want you to know that I truly appreciate every bit of support you provide in helping me share my original songs.
My goal is simply to reach more listeners, so please know that I certainly understand if neither of these options is acceptable for you, as we often feel barraged by requests to sign up for 'one more thing' that's time-consuming or asking for 'more info' than we wish to give or have time for.
If that's true for you, what I would request instead is that you please share my website or either of the links above with as many people as you can, as an alternate way to "get the music out there".
Thank you SO much for supporting my little corner of the music world!

Perry: Live on New England Cable News, Friday September 11th - September 11, 2009

Perry was thrilled and honored to perform a new song written for 9/11 on the *NECN Coffeehouse* (New England Cable News), September 11th. The segment aired live, and the producers then created the video below, combining the song with live coverage of memorial services at both Ground Zero and the Pentagon:

"Song for Tom" Video Clip!! - March 25, 2009

This song was written to help celebrate my music friend Tom Smith's 60th birthday. He recorded this as part of his daughter Mally's featured performance at the Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham, Mass, on March 5, 2009. (as an added surprise, the audio for this song was included in the new CD!!)
